Santorini Ferry Port Transfer
Smooth • Reliable • Direct to Your Hotel
Athinios Ferry Port is notoriously busy during ferry arrivals. Avoid long taxi lines and crowded public buses. Your private Mercedes chauffeur meets you right as you step off the ferry and drives you smoothly to your hotel or villa.
Athinios Ferry Port vs. Old Port (Skala): Important Information
Santorini has two main ports with completely different locations and transport access:
Athinios Port (New Port)
This is where passenger ferries arrive. All commercial ferries (Seajets, Blue Star Ferries, Golden Star Ferries, Minoan Lines) dock exclusively at Athinios.
- ✔ Fully accessible by vehicles & private transfers
- ✔ Located at the bottom of the caldera cliffs
- ✔ Your driver meets you holding a sign with your name
Old Port of Fira (Skala)
Used exclusively for cruise ship tender boats. There is no vehicular road connecting the Old Port to the island.
- ✗ No car or van access to the sea level dock
- ⚠ Access to Fira town is via Cable Car or walking path
- ⚠ For cruise passengers, pickups are coordinated at the Top Cable Car station in Fira
